This residence gives you the right to work in Spain as an employee or as a self-employed worker.

Conditions for service provision:
- Lived in Spain for at least 2 years (historic registration certificate required) and absent from Spain for no more than 90 days in total during that period.
- No valid residence permit at the time of application.
- Having had a residence permit in the last 2 years and not being able to renew it now (having received the denial of renewal or having violated the official time to submit the application for renewal). The type of residence that you had in the last 2 years: must be eligible for renewal and must not be "arraigo" residence permit.
- Have not been denied the renewal due to the reasons of public order, safety or public health.
