The Permanent residence permit for family member of a EU citizen (minor child) is suitable for minor children nationals of non-EU countries whose parents (or one of them) are EU citizens holding a residence permit in Spain (“Certificado de registro de ciudadano de la UE”) and who have been living in Spain under a temprorary residence permit for family members of EU citizens for the last 5 years. This residence is granted for 10 years.

Conditions for service provision:
- Staying legally in Spain with the parents (or one of them) at the moment of the application`s submission
- Having stayed in Spain for at least 184 days a year in the last 5 years

- Sufficient economic means of the parent, demonstrated either by an average bank balance of at least €12,000 over the last 12 months and the same current balance (or €31,000 if residing in the province of Malaga), or by regular income meeting the same annual thresholds. If the family consists of 3 and more members (for example, both parents and the child), then amounts are the following: €17,000 (or €40,000 in Malaga) for 3 members, €22,000 (or €48,000 in Malaga) for 4 members, €26,000 (or €57,000 in Malaga) for 5 members.
