Erasmus scholarship requirements
If you are selected for the Erasmus program, you will have access to study in a regulated and
computable way by your University of origin. Of course, you will have to make sure of the equivalence of
content of the subjects before leaving and validate your credits on your return. The program can be in a
European country of your choice from 3 to 12 months. You also have the opportunity to request a
financial scholarship!
To apply for an Erasmus grant you need to meet a series of prerequisites:
- Be studying at a University and also have passed your first year of studies.
- Be a citizen of one of the countries that are part of the Socrates Program.
SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education)
SEPIE is the body that distributes and manages the European Union funds that are allocated to these
scholarships from the Erasmus program and to others that promote student mobility in Europe. Take
advantage of these programs to get financial support.
The financial award for this program ranges from 200 to 300 euros per year. This variation range
depends on the standard of living in the destination country. The aid is charged in two separate
payments and is subject to the presentation of documentation and bank details, as well as proof of
arrival.
Erasmus + scholarships
This type of program, which is broader than the one known as Erasmus, can accommodate a larger
number of people to study at different levels and not only aimed at university students but also at
organizations and unemployed young people. It is interesting that these Erasmus + scholarships cover
internships in different companies and institutions.
Banco Santander is committed to recognizing students with excellent results, aiming at equality and the

For Santander to approve granting these financial grants, you must have previously been admitted to the
Erasmus + program. The application steps are dictated and informed by the university where you are
