Arraigo social - economic resources of family member
The Arraigo social residence permit is suitable for nationals of non-UE countries who have been living for 2 years in Spain, are now staying in Spain without any legal permit and have a close relative (spouse, parent, or adult child) residing legally in Spain. This residence gives you the right to work in Spain as an employee or as a self-employed worker.
Conditions for service provision:
- Having lived for 2 years in Spain (a historic registration certificate is necessary) and having left Spain for no more than 90 days in total in the last 2 years.
- Not holding a valid residence permit at the time of applying for Arraigo Social
- Having a spouse, a parent or a child of legal age with residence in Spain (if your relative has a student permit, it does not work)
- Proof of economic funds of your relative (€16.000 in their Spanish bank account as an average balance in the last 12 months/documents proving that your relative works in Spain and receives €16.000 euros annually)
- No criminal record in the last five years
