Residence permit for minor child born in Spain
This residence permit is applicable for non-EU citizens of less than 18 years old that were born in Spain and whose parents are living in Spain with a residence permit (one of the permits established by Real Decreto 1155/2024, de 19 de noviembre, or an investor`s residence permit). The residence permit for minor children born in Spain is granted for 5 years.
Conditions for service provision:
- The child was born in Spain and has not left Spain since the date of birth
- At least one of the parents has a residence permit in Spain (if the other one does not have such a permit, then a power of attorney is necessary)
- To apply for the residence within 6 months since the date of birth or 6 months since one of the parents obtained a residence permit
